Overview
Khmisa and Kawtar, two Moroccan women passionate about cooking, welcome you in Marrakech for a meal at Khmisa's place in the heart of the Medina in the pure Moroccan cuisine tradition and in a family and warm atmosphere. Khmisa, Chef for 25 years now, specialised in Morrocan cuisine and pastry, has worked for several renowned hotel establishments in the cities of Rabat and Marrakech.
Kawtar, graduated with a bachelor degree in hospitality and tourism will also assist you during your cooking class and help with the communication between you and the Chef.
At the arrival, we will welcome you with a traditional mint tea and we will discuss with you about the menu choice which will be composed of the most typical best Moroccan dishes. the menu will be starter/ main course/desert. First we will go with Chef Khmisa to the Old Souk . A walk through the souk to buy the fresh ingredient. Once back home, we will start the preparation.

What to expect
The cooking class will take place at Chef Khmisa's place, in a traditional Moroccan house in the heart of the medina located near the central square of Jemaa el fna.
At the arrival, you will be welcomed with a traditional mint tea and you will learn how to make it
The menu will be composed of the most typical Moroccan dishes
Moroccan starters + main course + desert
It's possible to request what you wanna cook
We will go to the food Local market after we meet, A short walk through the souk to buy the fresh groceries in the middle the market stalls filled with spices and local traditions.
Once back home, we will start the preparation of the dishes with Chef Khmisa and the help as well of Kawtar who will assist you in better understanding the secrets of the Moroccan cuisine. It's a shared experience . You can come individually or with a group.
The cooking class will take place couple days per week and can welcome individual participants or groups
